Before we begin with the feature and Beta announcement, the Flowerpatch staff would like to extend a tremendously large thank you to the Flowerpatch community. We are humbled by the positivity and support from players all over the world — THANK YOU!
SEED Tokens are growing!
Flowerpatch’s in-game currency, SEED Token, is earned by harvesting fully grown FLOWER NFTs inside the Flowerpatch metaverse. Flowerpatch BETA introduces key gameplay features which empower SEED Tokens to be utilized throughout the game. Every core feature in Flowerpatch can now be accessed with our Polygon-backed SEED Token. No more roller-coaster Gas Prices — Flowerpatch players can now use SEED Token to pay for FLOWER NFT Breeding and FLOWER NFT purchases via the Polygon Network with gas-less, near-zero fee transactions.
#1. Breed FLOWER NFTs in-game using SEED Token
Very few things are as satisfying as seeing your FLOWER’s offspring after you just bred. Breeding your best FLOWER with a friend’s FLOWER and getting three genetically unique NFT offspring has always been a highlight of the game for our community. We take pride in being a comparatively low-cost games without exorbitantly priced NFTs that allow new players to enter the Flowerpatch metaverse for a few dollars. Game features like breed fee sharing on every transaction also keep the rewards going to our players, high Gas Prices would often ruin the breeding fun.
Flowerpatch BETA now allows players to use their accumulated SEED token to directly pay for FLOWER NFT breeding in game. During the Flowerpatch BETA, breeding will cost 2,000 SEED and will produce the same reward of three genetically unique FLOWER NFT offspring!
#2. Purchase FLOWER NFTs from the Flowerpatch store with SEED
Another way players can grow their FLOWER NFT collection is by using their SEED Tokens in the all new SEED Market. This SEED store will carry a rotating collection of FLOWER NFTs and exclusive FLOWER card sets that cannot be purchased anywhere else. Limited quantities of each FLOWER Card will be available and the NFTs inside the store will be refreshed regularly. The SEED Market is available only on the Matic Network. A player’s wallet must be switched to the Matic Network to see the “SEED Market” tab on the Flowerpatch.app homepage.
Watering Game feature
Watering is now required to grow your FLOWERs in-game. Watering can be done using the Watering Pail tool in the toolbar and Watering Pails can be refilled via your own personal well (craftable.) Watering keeps any watered FLOWER in the watered state for 30 minutes at a time — if your FLOWER takes longer than 30 minutes to grow, remember to water it more than once.
How to water a plant A to B:
- Till land, then select, and plant your FLOWER.
- Make sure your Water Pail is full. If it’s not, then click on a well with your hand selector tool. Click “Fill Water Pail” to fill your 10 slots for water.
- Select the Water Pail tool in the toolbar and click on your unwatered FLOWERs. Voila! You’re farming.
Other Updates wrapped inside the BETA
#1. FLOWER Card Explorer “SELL” Button
Players can now Directly list FLOWER NFTs on Open Sea via the Flowerpatch.app Card Explorer.
To list a card for sale, head to My Collection and click the link on the back of your card to pull up the FLOWER Card Explorer. Click the Sell button as shown above and follow the process to input your desired price and post the NFT on the Open Sea market.
#2. In-game Harvesting confirmation screens and Planting animation screens now only appear every 5 minutes.
If you ever planted a FLOWER NFT in Flowerpatch, you have probably seen this hardworking koala on your screen. A lot.
Animations as well as confirmation screens have their utility, but the planting animation and harvesting confirmation frequencies has been noted by the community as superfluous.
Players will still see this Koala hard at work, but now the animation (and the harvesting confirmation screen) will only appear every 5 minutes. This will provide a smoother farming experience allowing players to plant and harvest FLOWER NFTs seamlessly without interruption.
#3. Nugbase Website Reinvention
At Nugbase, we continue to build long lasting and expansive NFT and crypto projects. Nugbase.com, home to the creators of Flowerpatch, has been completely redesigned as a web3 application to better reflect what the team at Nugbase is capable of building. #4. Privacy Compliance for Flowerpatch and Nugbase
Privacy is incredibly important to us and we have always maintained a secure environment for our players. We do not and will never rent or sell our player’s information. Although both Flowerpatch’s and Nugbase’s websites have always had a locatable Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, we have now implemented a stricter Opt-In policy. This means Flowerpatch or Nugbase will not contact you unless you explicitly opt-in or subscribe to our communications.
On first visit to either site, a small pop up will appear asking if the user agrees to our privacy policies. If the user rejects the request, he or she will be redirected off the site.

The Flowerpatch team has had a blast building out these features during this game cycle. Delivering on game features we know our players are going to love is incredibly rewarding process.
